At least the cover's pretty. Sounds like that may be one of the few redeeming qualities, though.

Adding note: I lent the paperback ARC I had to my mom, and she didn't even like it. This was a book tailor-made for my mother:
- book seller
- murder mystery
- PARIS
- history

and she still thought it was barely OK. So really. No. Don't read it.

(She did finish it in a day though. So it's definitely a fast read!)
