I'm glad you're reviewing these. I have always been fascinated by the women of the bible. Abigail is an old favorite, but this book does not sound like it does her justice.

I'm not from a Bible-based religion, but I had to read a few stories for one of my English Lit courses and one was with Jael, and it made me wonder what the "secondary" stories of the Bible would be like if they had more attention.

I like the premise of the story...but I don't think these books are for me. Not only this one, but just any in general...I'm not one to read the bible myself, so a story on a minor character from the bible might not be my cup of tea.
