I like the idea of making these characters more real. I'm a little conflicted on the author taking creative license with the bible but I guess I'd have to just look at it as a work of fiction not history and I'd be fine with it. Rahab has always been one of my favorite women in the Bible. A scarlet thread, the salvation of a family. Rahab proves that you don't have to be limited by where you come from.
