Wuthering Heights. Sad but true. Not so much romantic as tragic, IMO, but love is love.

I loved The Gargoyle! That book deserves more attention. It got a lot of buzz before it came out, but then it sort of disappeared.

Favorite love stories/couples...probably a tie between Claire and Henry from The Time Traveler's Wife, and Richard and Alec from Swordspoint by Ellen Kushner.
