Judaism also has a concept of Ruach Hakodesh, "holy spirit" which is what gives people prophesy.

I always thought that the Christian Holy Spirit had a root in Judaism, but I never knew what it was called before. :) Thank you!

My pleasure. My undergrad thesis was in 1st century common era Judea and I have reading knowledge of both biblical Hebrew, and Aramaic, so I am a complete nerd for this.
