I had an eventful weekend.  Met a French guy that was crashing with a friend here in town.  Discovered that my pool-hall where women play for free started charging except on a "ladies night".   *weeps*.   I sewed covers for our ugly couch pillows.  They are now cuteness, unrivaled by any other pillows in the land.  Cleaned my room and bathroom.

Pffft. Thoroughbreds are NOT nasty. Kind of psycho, but not nasty ;)

[I think I forgot to tell you this, but my horsey friend just got an older off-the-track thoroughbred and I rode him before I left -- the monster was 17 hands easy! I thought I was gonna get altitude sickness or something.]

Tsss, they're kinda nasty. Gangly and not too bright and all "OMG! A leaf! Throw my rider and fleeee!".

Hee, I really learned to ride on a horse named Moose and still like getting up on big horses sometimes. Shea's just under 15 hands so it takes a minute to get used to it if I trade off with somebody bigger.

No! I'm totally serious! The fact that people have resorted to charging women to play pool is bad! It's worse than that weird hemline indicator.
