Writer's Block: It Sounds Better When You Say It

"Media Naranjah" is Spanish for soul mate, but it literally means "orange half".    As in "*insert name here* is the other half of my orange!"  I think it's cute and much less lame than "soul mate".  The soul mate concept kind of bugs me.   I think you could wind up with one of several different people and be compatible.  Spanish is cool.

I did not know that Spanish phrase, but I love it!

In French, I like quel ennui for 'what a nuisance'. It's so much prettier than 'pain in the ass'!

Hee, you'd have to be very dramatic when saying it too. Much hands draped over the eyes; "Quel ennui!".
