So our Brand New President hasn't gotten much attention in my little world yet.  Everyone I've come across is either pleased or accepting, (if a bit begrudgingly).  Of course, I've only been to school, work, the barn, and Wal-Mart, so we'll see how the coming weeks and months come about.  Honestly, my greatest hope for Obama's presidency is that he ( Read more... )

I haven't seen Bones yet, so I have on my blinders, but I wanted to comment on your assassination thought. It has been on my mind throughout the election, and I've prayed for his and his family's safety every day. It is a sad fact of the world that there are still people who hate someone based solely on the color of their skin, and anyone stupid enough to hate someone just for being a different color is possibly stupid enough to do something horrifying. But I strongly believe fear is no excuse, so I'll just keep praying for him and our country and living my life.

That wax technique looks super cool! If only I was a Medici and could be your wealthy patron. ;)

The possibility is really scary and sad. I don't understand that kind of hate either, but I agree about not letting fear control things.

Bones was alright, nothing spectacular though. Next week looks like lots of fun though. ;)

Eee! I keep hoping Jack takes a nap so I can sneak and watch it while he sleeps. Seeley, Dean, and Sam on the same day sounds good to me!

OK, I saw Bones now, and I had a giggle with the artist storyline. I guessed it was Kabuki lady from the get go, they usually go for the wacko as the whodunit. ITA with you on Angela. I wish they hadn't messed with her character so much this season because I used to like her, but now she just seems like a flake. It seemed like a very ensemble episode, which was fine, but I needed more Baby Daddy time. Next week, I guess!
