Bit late on this, but happy Election Day.   I voted last week.  Basically I don't like either candidate and don't think any huge changes are going to come of it, but whatever,  I voted who I think will suck the least the longest.  Call me cynical but politics aren't my thing.  Doing what I can do to help things around me is.

I was so productive ( Read more... )

Good for you for at least voting. Two of my 20something techs didn't, despite my encouragements, and I shamed them hard today and plan to again tomorrow. Because yes, doing things in your immediate area helps, but having a framework and structure for good is huge. We can't individually fund research, build infrastructure, etc. A government that values the same things we do can.

Yeah, I'm a big believer in voting, and I ragged on people who didn't too. (If you don't vote you can't whine later). I just...get bored with politics.

I think the baby's name is Noah.

Julie also annoys me, but I really think thats the point. She is a bratty 16yo, and although I was never that bratty (I was a perfect child, naturally *gg*) I did know teenagers who were. Coach Taylor remaining "calm" in the tattoo talk cracked me up. Everytime he opened his mouth he just got worked up over it.

*sigh* Your Riggins indifference simply does not compute. But thats OK - less competition ;).

Ah, Noah is cool too.

The tattoo talk was pretty awesome. I just get tired of hearing how smart Julie is when she does dumbass stuff like this. It's probably just because sass like that did not fly in my family growing up.

You can have *insert multiple derogatory insults here* Riggins. I do not understand the love.

I finally just got caught up with the last two weeks of FNL. And, holy crap, somebody needs to cut Street a break already. Jesus wept.

I think my favorite line was Herc's:
"It's like lookin' at a postcard!"
or
"That house can rot into the ground before I sell it to this clown car of idiots!"
or
"She's pretty serious about her cookies."
OR
"Fine. Fine. I'll sit on your bench. I'll come to practice and I'll do whatever you tell me to do. But I'm a hate it. And you're gonna hate it. Good talk, coach."

Yes, I took notes. I didn't want to spoil 3.06 for you, but I've got a lot more where that came from. I love TV some weeks.

*hugs Street*

Herc arguing with Billy about the wood in the house made me laugh so hard too.

I still haven't caught up with the episode previous, but I will eventually.
