I think I'm going to figure out something to do with the art room. It would be a good place to hang up my drawings and try to make sense out of some of them. If anyone else on board is an artist and has something they'd like to show off, I've got to admit that I'd be pretty interested in seeing what kind of talent you may or may not have

I fully support this idea. I am very interested in seeing the artwork that everyone has done.

Extremely. [That's a problem he's been reflecting on quite a bit, lately.] I suppose with the exchange rate of individuals on the vessel, this will be a learning experience.

That makes two of us. Luckily for me, I'm not letting myself get attached to anyone here.

I considered that, though I have slowly come to realize that would be unfair to the people that I have cared for before.

I have established relationships with people, and they spent a great deal of time ensuring that I would not feel alone. They gave me experience to learn from, and told me much about interacting with others that I had not realized before.

I am frightened of the prospect of forming new relationships. I might end up alone again, but that is not what the friends I have left behind would have wanted and they do not deserve to have everything they taught me disregarded. I also might miss the chance to learn something else.
