So I make a statement in regards to why I haven't been able to acquire a certain product.  The fact that it's kind of expensive is one of my reasons.  Another is that even if money were no object, there's no guarantee that there would be any available that would actually work for me.

And someone feels the need to 'splain at me about following

You mean total number that I've managed to acquire and neglected to get rid of, or number that I actually find wearable for any length of time?

Because I'm not sure about the first number, but the second is "four." And that's because I made a pair of sandals.

So you have four pair you wear in the regular. And then there's a she'd that houses the shrine of footwear that you have because of one occasion or one outfit and will never again see the light of day. Because stereotypes right?

Well...winter boots that are about to become inappropriate for the weather, a pair of half-assed "job interview shoes," some moccasins that are a lot less comfortable since I got them resoled by someone who apparently missed the point of moccasins, and the sandals that I made.

But the rest are either in storage heaven-knows-where, or are the flimsy little whatevers that I got for my wedding (and promptly kicked off at the reception).  So...close enough.
