No results quite yet, unfortunately! There is a tie for elimination this round, two icons received the same number of negative/least votes. As this is this is something that might come up again, I figured the best way to do it was to see which option everyone prefer for this situation. It's not at all foolproof.. of course.. LOL bizarra and I kinda went through the pro/con list last night, realizing how much it wouldn't help against how it might. LOL

It's not a bad idea, but I feel like it would sort of slow down the round, and it holds up the results, plus it forces two people to make another icon? I might use it in the future when things get tighter, but I'm thinking maybe just a re-vote between the two might work for now.

re vote based on those two for which one to eliminate. The icon makers who made the icons obv can't vote.

I was going to go with this at first too, because that's what the poll favored. But then I saw the comments with totally reasonable ideas that I hadn't even thought of myself. So I'm still mulling over.

I'd probably have a tiebreaker. People are leaving this at such a high pace already, but then again it feels a bit unfair if nobody gets eliminated. Or maybe another solution would be not to eliminate anyone, but keep in mind that those people have been in elimination danger so if they'll be involved in a tie, they'd go over the others? I'll be fine with whatever you decide though, just throwing some ideas around :)

The more I thought about it the more I think you're right about it not being fair if nobody gets eliminated, because then it might feel like people put a lot of work into making an icon, and then ending up like the competition didn't matter just because of a tie.

I'm not sure what I'm going to do yet though; I'm probably thinking too hard about this!

I think it's good that you're thinking about what to do - you're interested in making things fair, and who can object to that?

I always assume someone will object to whatever I do, but hopefully it won't be the majority!
