Does anyone know when the cook is available? I would like to have words with her, but every time I see her at the buffet she seems so busy...

On a ship this size I can't imagine the cook would have much free time.

[It's all about the flattery, boss. He knows it's off, it's meant to be off, but it's also meant to give an undeserved boost to the idiot woman's ego. This is supposed to sound overblown, because if it's flattery that'll get her to slip then he's definitely willing to play.

[He would ask except he's taken to Never Talking About Anything Important over the comms. Even if it's locked. It leaves a trail, and he knows his locking abilities aren't the best. Like he's seen (or not seen, rather) in your locked conversations with the Commander.]

I'm sure the crew don't see much companionship from passengers. Why, I'm sure a respite would be appreciated, if you offered.

You see, I am afraid I have a--well, you will probably find it a somewhat silly question, but it has so been bothering me recently.

After some contemplation on the matter I have come to the decision that you, of all the crew, may be the one most capable of providing me with a proper answer. We have never met but...I have heard good things.

I understand that you most certainly have better things to do with your time than play informational clerk for a passenger, but I do have a frog, if you would be willing to trade?

I do. I have been saving it--I tried to give it to the architect, Meth? But she was just maddeningly unhelpful. I halfway think she did not even know the answers to what I asked her.

I assume you would have been better suited to the task to begin with, but I was much newer to the ship then.
