...Do you people actually believe this?

Makers, and I thought the Mar and Precursor legends were overbearing.

[Pauses to clear his throat quietly.]

"There an angel of the Lord appeared to him from a burning bush. Moses saw that the bush was on fire, but it was not burning up. 'This is strange!' he said to himself."

[Pause.]

...No, really?

...It is a bush. On fire. How does that even manage to rank in comparison?

[As far as Jak's concerned, that pretty much trumps everything.]

They do not go around lighting bushes on fire to make people worship them, Jak.

Precisely. And even if you do know it to exist, such as on my world, I fail to see the purpose in wasting time with worship. Most people have better things to do.

Dude, we got the exact same ideas in our heads, y'know? I think if there is a God there, he is bein' way too selfish by makin' good, hard workin' people spend hours a day singin' to 'im. Ain't he got angels to do that crap? Damn.

So you got gods y'know fer sure are there where y'come from? That must be nice. No one arguin' over that crap, y'know.

Ach, well, I believe mine would appreciate if everyone spent hours a day singing to them, but I have never really been the worshipping type.

Regardless, yes, we know they exist. They apparently made some huge spectacle of leaving the planet sometime last year, although I wasn't present to witness it. Waste of time, anyway.

[Pause.]

Technically speaking, we have something similar on board. He hardly deserves the attention, though.
