Simple question for the other passengers on this ship, or perhaps the crew. Whoever answers first, I suppose.

[There's a low murmur in the background denoting that Razer is not in his room alone this time.]I am afraid that I was not quite in prime condition upon my initial arrival, and though I am healing well enough there is still a...sting. If ( Read more... )

I am certain someone has already informed you of our healer aboard, Sir Razer, although I would be quite cautious. Something seems to set suspicions with the particular in question.

[Meaning he/she/it creeps her out a little.]

Droids are droids; some people do not deal with them very well. Perhaps you simply aren't the robotic type.

[Droids? What?]

...No. I would suppose I am not.

I have enough experience with them personally; one of my associates back home is a robot. Skilled thing, but...a bit difficult at times. It takes a special sort to put up with them, and time to adjust to the difference between calculating processors and thought processes.

[Whooooa that robot sounds way different from the ones he knows. Much better spoken than UR-86--as in, HE CAN SPEAK--so that's a pleasant surprise.]

AMU, correct?

Would it bother you too much if I stopped in and picked up some supplies? An anti-inflammatory, some antiseptic--simple things.

[Be polite to the alien robot.]

[Yeah AMU sounds something like an androgynous GlaDOS. The incredibly neutral tone and occasional odd inflection are the only things that really betray the fact it's a robot. Well, that and the vocab.]

Acronym for Autonomous Medical Unit 92-XG-3. Correct.

It would be no bother. Are you in need of medical assistance?

[Oh pleeeeeease be in need of medical assistance.]

Just some scratches and bruises, nothing of consequence. However, they ache and sting to the point that they are a nuisance.

[Karis wonders in in search of food. She eyes Razer as she passes.]

Heya, long-ears.

[He turns toward Karis and...blinks. Different worlds, Razer, freaks are everywhere.

...But most of them have a little more skin. He grins a little--yes this is freaky but he will roll with it, dammit--and quirks an eyebrow.]

Well. You certainly appear to have seen better days.
