Ulrich Hobelmann remarks that in my article Public Goods Fallacies (and hence the essay Government is the Rule of Black Magic from which it is excerpted), I had misattributed to Ambrose Bierce's The Devil's Dictionary the following quip:

euh, "de gagné" !

Au fait, génial, ce lien sur le "Dictionnaire"; j'avoue crever de rire aux rubriques "maiden" et "woman" ("An animal usually living in the vicinity of Man, and having a rudimentary susceptibility to domestication..."), que je lis pour la 1° fois en anglais; et pourtant je ne suis pas misogyne (la preuve que si, va-t-on dire)...
