Jun insisted on taking him home despite Aiba’s rejection. He placed Aiba’s hand over his shoulder and felt Aiba’s body stiffened. Great, he really afraid of me now, he thought, disappointed with himself. They walked out of the building toward the limo. Aiba shifted uncomfortably in his seat as Jun climbed in beside him.
Jun started the engine before turning his head to face Aiba. Jun reached out his hand and Aiba’s body withdrew instinctually, eyes closed. He fastened Aiba’s seatbelt in one swift move and looked away not peven trying to hide his hurtful feeling. He wanted Aiba to feel guilty; he wanted Aiba to feel sorry; but in reality he was the one feeling that.
“I can do that myself, you know... My hands are fine…” Aiba chuckled to hide his uneasiness only to be ignored. Without looking back at him, Jun released the clutch and the car move forward. Not getting any response Aiba looked down at his hands.
The journey to Aiba’s house seems taking forever. Sometimes he glanced over at Aiba who’s playing with his hands, a habit whenever he felt nervous or guilty. Under the street light he found Aiba irresistible. If only he could touch him, savor his skin under his arm. Jun shook his head before looking back forward. The street was clear so the drive went smoothly.
As they reached Aiba’s house, Jun stopped the car and froze in his seat, head and both arms on steering wheel. Gathering all his strength (what’s left of him anyway), he looked at Aiba and took his hand.
“Aiba Masaki, I want you to listen… don’t say anything before I finish… can you do that?” Aiba nodded slightly, shocked. Jun can not believe that he was the one saying those words, those pleading words. Him. The great Matsumoto Jun who’ll have any women begging at his feet. He took in a deep breath to calm himself.
“I’m sorry about tonight… I really am…” he said never took his eyes out of Aiba’s “but I have to do that… to sort my feelings…for you…” he stopped before continuing “…I know you just remember… that night...” he saw Aiba eyes widened. His face became unreadable as Aiba’s hands on his’ trying to escape. He strengthened his grip on those hands before continuing. “… and I know this sound weird, but…” he breathed in, closing his eyes before firing the last statement “I think I’m in love with you…” he moved forward and peaked Aiba’s lower lips gently.
Aiba withdrew shockingly from him. “Matsujun… I…”
Jun heard reluctance in his voice. He let go of Aiba’s hands and climbed off the car. He ran to Aiba’s side of the door, pulling him out before placing Aiba’s arm around him. He saw shock on Aiba’s face but he managed to get him out of the car.
“We’ll talk later. Now just get in and rest…” he said.
Then, he saw a man approaching them so he looked at the man questionably before Aiba loose himself into that man’s arm. His heart jumped. And as Aiba introduced them, he felt his heart aching but he doesn’t know why. He shouldn’t be feeling that way anyway. Not that he’s in love with Aiba or anything.
He signed. He finally understood the reluctance in Aiba’s voice. He never thought that Aiba already had a boyfriend. A boyfriend! Not that he had anything against homosexual (he wanted Aiba for God's sake); it’s just he never saw it coming. He thought at least there would be some girl, a girlfriend or something, but this is far from what he expected. He never really meant the word he said in the car. It’s just to get Aiba in bed and settle this once and for all. But he never thought Aiba would reject him right away by introducing his boyfriend. He felt he’d been dumped before even started. This really scratched his ego as a man.
Jun climbed out of his car, walked into a 7-eleven and grabbed a packet of cigarette. He could really use a smoke right now. Sitting down on the bench in front of the store, he inhaled the cigarette deeply to clear his mind. He watched as people walk in and out the store. Watching a couple whispering and laughing happily, he stood up and signed. Maybe he just has to learn to give up.
“Huh~” he signed “I don’t have time for this…gotta focus on the opening…” he said silently while walking back to his car.

After Sho left his house that night, Aiba was left alone. He lied on the bed facing the ceiling as his hand bend up under his head. His eyes locked at the spinning fan right in front of him but his mind travelled back inside Jun’s office. He was almost been rape. Thank God I manage to kick that vase, he thought, sat up and looked at his left foot. It wasn’t an accident. He meant to kick that vase so that Jun will snap out of it. Maybe I’m too overreacted. Signing, he stood up and dragged his feet to the bathroom.
‘I think I’m in love with you…’ his head kept repeating those words over and over again. He closed his eyes to forget it but fail. Looking at the mirror, he splashed water on to his face a few times to wake himself up from this nightmare. Jun cannot be in love with him. He just can’t. Not that he hated Jun. No, but he knew himself very well. He can’t say ‘no’ to anyone. He was raised to be very compliant. And now that had gotten into him. He was lucky Jun didn’t push him to accept whatever in his mind. And Sho was his lifesaver. He felt bad for using Sho, but he had to. He just got to learn to say ‘no’ anytime soon.

Nino decided to drove around that night. His instinct was saying that tonight he’s going to discover something good. It always right. There’s one time he refuse to follow his instinct, he lost all his money on gambling. And since then he decided that he should follow his instinct more than his judgment.
As his mind wondered, he overlooked a guy trying to cross the street. And when he realized, it was too late. He stepped on his brake with all his strength before hearing a soft thud sound from the front. He didn’t realized he was closing his eyes until he opened it and saw someone lying face down on the car bonnet.
“Shit!” he cursed, getting out of the car “Watch where you’re going, man!” Lucky for Nino, there’s no witness. He knew that it was his fault but in hell he going to admit that. For what he knew this guy could cost him his fortune. Not getting any respond, Nino pulled the man up from the bonnet.
“It hurt~” Nino heard the man said as he saw a drop of tears on his cheek and his forehead was slightly red. “Ah~ sorry, I didn’t see your car there. Is it ok?” Guilt emerged in his heart. Not only the man didn’t blame him, he even apologized to him.
If it wasn’t for him asking for his crutch, Nino wouldn’t even notice. His left leg was bandaged and he was holding on to the car bonnet for support as his face contorted to the heat. Nino pulled the man closer to him to let the man hold on to his shoulder. After he stood up straight Nino noticed that he was taller than him. He saw the crutch landed not far away from the car so he dragged him toward it.
And after the guy stood steadily, supported by his crutch, he finally asked “what are you doing in the middle of the night alone with that leg?” Doesn’t this guy know danger at all? He thought as he watched him. What if something happen? He can never-. Wait, why am I even worry with this guy? I don’t even know him.
He doesn’t usually even bother helping people, but something about this guy making him felt slightly responsible. If that was really what he thought he felt. After all, he almost hit him. He didn’t dare leaving him alone here with that leg.
“I’m going to grab a midnight snack. There…” he pointed at the small cart across the street.
“Fine, I’ll take you there… I could eat something”
“Thank you…” he said hugging Nino and earning a glare from him before backing away.
Nino parked his car beside the road before leading them to the cart. So much for trusting my instinct, he thought as he watched the guy eating deliciously in front of him. But he looked familiar somehow.
“What’s your name anyway?” Nino asked, slurping his ramen.
“Aiba Masaki…” the man mumbled with ramen hanging outside his mouth.
