Aiba locked himself in his room as soon as he arrived home. He lay on the bed and tried to erase all the memories of that day from his mind. It was supposed to be a happy memory with him hanging out with Ohno. He really did have fun that day before Sho’s appearance.

Aiba really thought that staying away from Sho was a good idea for the time being. He didn’t want to make things more complicated than it is. But Sho’s sudden action at the park really got to him. He can’t believe Sho would dare asked that kind of question before explaining to him why he left. His eyes slowly drifted close as thoughts of Sho invaded his mind.

Aiba was awaked a few hours later, when the doorbell rang. He climbed off the bed and nearly trip on the way to the door. “Coming…” he said out loud as the ringing sound went on continuously. He opened the door to find Jun standing in front of it

“Matsujun?”

“Aiba-chan, do you mind if I crash here tonight?”

“Eh?” Aiba didn’t know how to respond to the request.

“by the way, Ohno told me to tell you that he won’t be coming home tonight…”

“Ah, is that so?” Aiba frowned to the thought that Ohno didn’t even bother to contact him personnaly to say that. He stepped aside giving room for Jun to make his way in.

“He said he’d already tried to contact you but you didn’t answer your phone…” Jun explained as if knwing what Aiba was thinking.

“Ah…” Aiba blushed a little knowing that Jun can read his thought “… my battery died…”

“Thought so…” Jun smiled. “Anyway…” Jun looked around Aiba’s house “I don’t think u’ve eaten dinner yet right?”

“That’s ok. I’m-” Aiba stopped as both heard his stomach growling out loud. “Sorry…”

“Let’s go out to dinner. My treat to thank you for letting me stay…”

“No, I rather not go outside tonight…” Aiba declined. He really wasn’t in the mood for eating or anything else.

“Fine, let’s order pizza then…”

---

Nino slammed the door closed as soon as both of them entered the house. He stomped his way to the living room and slumped down on the couch. Ohno went directly to the kitchen to place the stuff he’d buy before joining Nino on the couch. He took the remote from the coffee table and click on the TV before leaning back against the couch.

“That stupid Jun…” Nino started. He took the remote from Ohno and clicked it to change channel randomly as he babbled. “How can he pick a fight with his boyfriend at time like this?”

“I don’t think they’ll be fighting for long…” Ohno said as he snatched back the remote from Nino’s hand. “And I’m watching that…”

“I don’t want to have anything to do with them…”

“They’ll be alright…” Ohno assured him.

“I hope so…” Nino sighed “… coz I think being a cupid for one couple is enough for me…” he continued before looking at Ohno who was smiling meaningfully at him. “What?”

“Nothing…” Ohno chuckled as he pulled Nino closer and snuggled against him. “Just glad to see you’re doing fine with your cousin…”

“Shut up…” Nino blushed and tried to look away but Ohno was faster on bringing their mouth together.

He was having dinner with his family in a restaurant when a beautiful young girl at about his age or younger came approaching them. After the girl settled in a seat beside him, his father coughed a little to catch the attention from everyone that was on the table.

“This is Marie…” his father stated as he looked at the girl and smiled before facing his son with the changed of expression. “… She is the managing director of this company I’ve been working with since last year…”

Sho looked up from his food to the girl and try to smile back as he found her smiling at him. He frowned a little when he looked back down feeling slightly bad about this meeting. How his father could possibly asked this one acquaintance of his to join their family dinner? Sho looked at his mother to see that the woman was smiling sadly at him as if already knew what would come.

“…she’s also the daughter of the company’s larger shareholder…”

Yeah, of course, Sho rolled his eyes but without his parent noticing it. He winched painfully when his sister pinched his lap to get his attention back to the conversation.

“… and soon to be wed with our Sho here…”

“What!?” Sho exclaimed a little louder causing a few attentions to their table.

“You heard me…” his father said calmly. “You are marrying Marie in a week…”

“Isn’t that too soon, dear?” his mother asked. “Shouldn’t we discuss this further?”

“Nonsense! We’ve been planning this for a month now…”

“didn’t we go through this already?” Sho said defeatedly “… and don’t people usually make plans with the person involve?”

“I’ve taken care of all detail with your mother. All you need to do is to attend your wedding that’s all…”

“How can you make decision without asking me first?” Sho asked both his parent. “This is my life we’re talking about…” Sho looked down and gripped thight the knife and fork in his hands on the table, trying to stay calm. He looked back up as he felt his sister hand on his.

“Have you already forgotten your promise to me?” Sho looked as his father gave him the look as if reciting his promise in exchange of Aiba’s surgery cost.

“But this is not part of our deal!” Sho argued. “I promise to end my relationship with Masaki and follow you here. That’s it…” noticing Sho’s tone, his sister squeezed his hand lightly to calm him.

“What’s the different? Now that you don’t have anyone, you might as well get married…”

“NO!” Sho exclaimed as he pulled his hand away from the table and out of Mai’s grip.

“Are you trying to tell me that you belive that I’ll let you continue your so-called relationship with that- that boy once you followed my conditions?” his father threw the napkin on the table to show his anger. “Over my dead body…”

“Dear, come down…” his mother tried to calm his father down while at the same time trying to ensure Marie that there’s nothing to be worried about. Marie just smiled back not even paying attention to the argument in front of her.

“I won’t marry someone I don’t love!”

“Enough!” his father shouted. “Not a word from you… you will do as told!”

“I’m outta here…” Sho managed before stroming out of the restaurant.

He took a taxi back to the office and locked himself in. He turned on the TV to full volume, took out a bottle of champagne and started drinking before his cell rang. A little drunk, he threw the cell on the coffee table before continued drinking back. The cell kept on ringing and after about forever and the phone still ringing, he answered it with a grunt.

“What!?”

“Mr. Sho Sakurai?”

“Speak up, can’t hear you. Who is this?”

“We’re from the hospital. There has been an accident-“

“… an accident had occured late this evening where a car was hit by a truck. Police have said that the accident maybe cause by the reckless truck driver who had been drinking…”

Sho’s attention was averted to the TV as he heard the news. He barely heard the caller’s voice as his eyes widened not to the condition of the car that was badly damaged in the accident but to the familiarity of it.

“Mr. Sakurai, are you still there?”

“Ye- yes?”

“We need you to come down to the hospital to confirm bodies…” Sho’s felt his heart stopped beating and the last thing he remembered was he almost run over an old lady that was about to exit the hospital building before finding himself in front of the emergency room.

Sho grasped the doorknob tightly and waited for a few second before stepping in. Four bodies covered with white sheets were aligned in the room with one still being attended to. A nurse was covering his sister’s face the moment he stepped in causing his blood to stop going to his brain. He walked closer to Mai’s bed hastily and stumbled on the body. He tore the white sheet open to see Mai’s pale face.

Sho shifted a little as he was awaked to the bad memories. He knew he was crying as he sobbed and tears in his eyes but he was too tired to wipe it off. Then he felt someone hugging and hand stroking his hair gently. Without opening his eyes, he let himself being calm by the soothing embrace. Masaki. His head kept chanted the name as he slowly fell back to sleep into that caring arms.

---

They enjoyed the pizza while watching the movie on TV. The only sound can be heard from the living room wascoming from the TV. Both were too occupied with the movie, they stop talking for a while.

“Matsujun…” Aiba called without taking his eyes off the screen.

“Yes?” Jun tore his eyes away from the TV and looked at Aiba.

“Sorry to ask you this, but…” Aiba fixed his eyes at Jun before continuing “… are you fighting with Toma, again?”

“No…” Jun answered softly. He smiled a little before looking back to the screen. “We… broke up…”

“What!?” Aiba quickly stopped as he looked at Jun’s sad expression. His mind suddenly recalled back when they met Toma at the bar. “Sorry…”

“Not your fault. He found a new love, he said…”

“Really?” Aiba eyes widened. He just can’t believe that Toma decided to leave Jun who he loved for years just to be with the new guy he just met. “Are you ok?”

Jun looked up as he felt Aiba’s hand on his. “I’m fine…” he smiled sadly. “Maybe we’re just not meant to be together…” Aiba found himself taken aback by Jun’s words.

---

“We have tried our best but still-” the nurse looked at him with sad. “I’m sorry…”

Sho looked at the nurse and smiled. “What are you sorry for? It’s me that should’ve say sorry for troubling you. Sorry for have to get along with their prank…” he said as he walked to Shu’s bed.

The nurse frowned to Sho’s words. “Sir, are you ok?”

“Yeah, we’re all ok, aren’t we?” Sho tore the sheet that was covering Shu’s body, open before doing the same to his parent’s. “Come on Shu, wake up! Open your eyes…” he shook Shu’s body roughly causing the nurse to hold him. He freed himself from the nurse and went to his parent bodies.

“Sir, I think you need help…” upon seeing Sho didn’t respond to her, the nurse quickly went out of the room before coming back with three hospital’s attendants.

“Ok, I give up. You guys win. I’ll marry her. In fact, I’ll marry anyone you want… just wake up now!”

“Sir, we need you to come with us…” one of the attendants grabbed Sho’s shoulders and tried to pull him out of the room but Sho struggled back.

“Let me go… I need to wake everybody up…” he said and went beside his mother. “Come on mother, wake up. My wedding is in a week and there’s so much to do…” The attendant shook his head before signaling to his friends to take hold of Sho. “NO!!!”

“NO!!!” Sho sat up and struggled from the hands holding him without opening his eyes. When he was about to get free a voice came into his ears and hand on his cheek.

“Sho!”

Sho frowned to the pain on his cheek and hands shook him to his senses. He opened his eyes to see a face inches from his. The face looked familiar somehow but he can’t remember who that was. He tried to sit up but being held back down by that man. He tried to recall back where he’d seen the face befero a voice came again.

“Sho, I’m sorry …” the guy touched Sho’s cheek, where he previously slap. “Are you ok?”

“Who… are… you…?” Sho held his head and winched as it starting to hurt a lot.

“Toma… Jun’s and Aiba’s friend…”

“Toma?”

“Yes… are you ok?” Toma asked again.

“Yeah, I guess…” Toma helped as Sho tried to sit up. “Where am I?” he looked around the room after he was properly seated.

“My room…” Toma answered cheerily. He went to his cupboard to take a pill and shoved it in front of Sho before handing him a bottle of mineral water. “I found you past out in a bar last night and brought you home…”

“Thanks…” Sho said softly as he accepted both items. “Much better…”

“Mmm… that’s fast…” Toma looked at the empty bottle. “Anyway…” he continued as he pulled Sho up from the bed and led him outside “… I bet you’re hungry so I’m gonna buy dinner… or supper. We’ll eat them soon, ok… until then you’ll just have to-”

Sho smiled as he watched Toma babbling. He was seated on the bench inside the store looking at Toma bouncing his away to buy their food. A few minutes later he arrived with bentos in hand. “You work here?” Sho said as he open the package. Toma already had half his bento in his mouth nodded his head a little before shaking it.

“Yes and no… coz it’s my uncle’s store…”

“You’re helping him out?”

“Yeah…” he said happily as he took another bite at his food. Sho chuckled looking at Toma. “What?”

“You remind me of Masaki in some way…” he said before smiling sadly to the memory.

“Really?”

“Yeah…”

“Then, there’s no problem…” Toma put his bento down and leaned closer to Sho before continuing “… if I do this…” He caught Sho’s lips between his teeth and sucked it.

Sho had to grasp hard on Toma’s shoulder to prevent him from practically ‘eating’ his lips. “Mm… wha- what are you doing?”

“Kissing you…” Toma said casually as if kissing Sho was a common thing to do.

“But wh- why?”

“Coz I love you…”

“But you don’t even know me…”

“You’re hot that’s all I need to know… beside there’s a lot of time to get to know each other…” again the indiffent tone Toma was using. Sho tried to stand up but Toma was faster. He straddled him and tried to kiss him but stopped upon feeling hand grasping his shoulder from behind.
