Chapter 10
“Argh…!!!!” the scream echoed throughout the building causing birds to flew over due to the shock before going back to their nests. Sho panted as he curled his body into a ball as he can’t withstand the pain overflowing throughout his body. He had been feeling this almost everyday since he has been here. His fellow jail mate was sitting at the corner of that small room, keeping distance to prepare for anything worse.
“Dude, are you ok?” Kazuya asked when he was sure that Sho was not going to continue screaming.
“I- I think so…” Sho answered still panting from his endurance towards the pain
“You’re starting to creep me up, man. Yelling like that everyday…” Kazuya stood and went to Sho side patting his shoulder “… you sure, you’re ok?”
“I don’t know...” Sho said as he positioned himself on the makeshift bed so that he was comfortable “… the pain keeps getting stronger… and there’s something else after that but I don’t understand it…”
“Well from what we can see, no injury or anything on your body to be connected to the pain. Is it because of this room?” Kazuya frowned to his words while looking around the chamber searching for something that might be the cause of Sho’s suffering but found nothing. He was afraid that he might be feeling the same after that “… or maybe it’s just your feeling…”
“My feeling? Of what?”
“If I know, would you think I’ll go this far making these theories?” Kazuya looked slightly annoyed at Sho. “Ah~ I cant take it in here…!!” Kazuya suddenly shouted. Sho was too occupied with his own thoughts to take notice on him. “Shit, man… do something…”
“Like what?”
“How should I know…that’s why I’m asking you…”
“Well, I don’t know either…”
“What the hell… don’t you wanna get out of here?”
Slightly angry with Kazuya’s remark, Sho suddenly grabbed him by his collar and shouted. “You think I wanna stay in here, in this damn place!? Damn it, Kamenashi… I have someone waiting for me for hell’s sake…” he tightened his grasped on his collar.
“Wow~ chill man…” Kazuya said as he tried to free himself. “I’m just saying… no need to be so worked up…” he raised his hands in surrender as soon as he was free “just think about it… we’re locked in, being fed with rats… I need fresh blood; I need to have sex…” he turned and locked his gaze on Sho.
“Don’t even think about it…!!” Sho gave Kazuya a warn look.
“You’re no fun…” Kazuya whined.

“Emm, delicious as always…” Matsumoto said as he wiped traces of blood from his mouth. He grabbed his mantel that was hanging beside the door before coming back to bed where Aiba was. “I’ll be back tomorrow…” he whispered to his ear before leaving room without waiting for the boy’s reply.
Aiba shifted slightly on the bed, to reach for the sheet to cover his naked body. He can barely move his body due to the pain he felt growing every second after Matsumoto finished with him. Too tired to move, he slowly drifted to unconsciousness.
After about a minute, the door burst opened and someone entered the room. Ohno rushed to the bed where Aiba was lying, cushion his head with his lap and dropped a little amount the potion in his mouth. “Masaki, come on… bear with it…” he whispered with that. He pulled the sheet so that it was covering the boy in his arm. He shook Aiba’s body, making his eyes fluttered but not opened.
“Is he ok?” Nino who just entered the room asked.
“Not sure…” Ohno answered still trying to wake Aiba out of the unconsciousness. “He’s not moving. Matsumoto really done it this time… doesn’t he know that this boy won’t last even for a week if he kept sucking blood from him everyday… even the potion couldn’t help him…”
“I’ve tried to offer him another human but he refuse…” Nino said with his focus on Aiba. “When I try to reason with him, he-” he stopped and hugged himself,
“Kazu~…”
Ohno tried to place Aiba back on the bed to go to his lover, but Nino stopped him. “I’m fine… he needed more attention than me…”
Ohno nodded with understanding as he continued to caress Aiba’s hair. “What about Master Sakurai? Heard anything yet?”
“Not- what was that?”
“What?” Ohno tightened his embrace to Aiba, preparing for anything. “He’s supposed to be asleep now…” Nino knew that Ohno meant Matsumoto.
Nino sniffed to the air before saying “Not him, it’s someone else...” he went to the door slowly before pulling the door open abruptly. A boy slightly older than Aiba stumbled in. Nino pulled him up to his feet before shoving him back against the wall. “who the hell are you?”
“I’m sorry… I didn’t mean to- I just- ”
“Cut the crap, boy… who are you and what are you doing here?” Ohno asked seeing that Nino was getting angrier when the boy started to babble.
“Ah~ it’s about Master Sakurai…”
“What about him!?” Being yelled like that made Toma trembled throughout his body and fail to utter significant words. “Speak up, boy…!!”
“Kazu, easy…”
After feeling Nino had loosened his grip, the boy continued. “I’m Ikuta Toma and I’m here with Lord Matsumoto. I heard that Lord Matsumoto had ordered Master Sakurai to be sent to the vampire jail…”
“I don’t like the sound of it…” Ohno said warily.
“Its worst than how it sounds…” Nino said before focusing back to the boy. “wait a minute, you said you’re with Matsumoto… why are you telling us this?”
Before Toma got to answer, Ohno felt Aiba’s movement in his arms and alerted the two. “He’s waking up…” he looked down to the boy who was wincing painfully. He saw tears flew down to the boy’s cheeks.
“Sho…!!” Aiba suddenly shouted as soon as he opened his eyes.

“Masaki!!” Sho sat up and looked around the dark chamber while panting hard. He wiped the sweats that dropped from his forehead away.
“Now what?” Kazuya asked cagily.
“I swear I just heard Masaki’s voice calling me…” Sho placed a finger in front of his mouth signaling Kazuya to keep quiet for a second. “Listen…”
“Masaki? Who’s that?” Kazuya asked while trying to hear as well“… and no, I don’t hear anything…”
“It’s gone now… but I swear I heard him…” he stood up and went to the door. “Hey, anyone out there? Let me out of here…!!”
