“Morning, Aoyama-san…” the secretary bowed respectfully “… this way please…” and she lead his way to the meeting room.
Aoyama stood in front of the room and waited for the door to be open for him. Inside, he can see Hiroto Kuzo, Inoue Akira, Aoi Fumio, a few unfamiliar faces and Matsumoto Yukihiro, the president himself. A few board members were nowhere to be found.
Aoyama looked at his watch, afraid that he was late but he still has 15 minutes before the meeting started. Matsumoto Co. held a policy where everyone including the president himself must be on time at the meeting if not earlier. Late might as well considered as not attending since he despise people interrupting the meeting. After greeting everyone in the room, he took his place and the meeting started.
As expected from the president, Matsumoto started the meeting as soon as the clock reached 3. After a brief introduction, Matsumoto decided to jump directly to the matter concerned.
“Today’s meeting is concerning the project on Tanaka project…” Matsumoto said as he looked everyone in front of him in determination. “… but first, to settle simple issue…” he continued as he looked at Aoi on his right.
Aoi cleared his throat to catch everyone attention. He started by introducing the new board members, and new board members meant new shareholders. There were 5 at most but two can’t make to today’s meeting. Then, he started to deligate responsibilities on behave of Matsumoto before stopping to a sudden disruption.
Aoi stopped and looked at Aoyama who raised his hand indicating to ask a question. “I’m sorry for interrupting, Aoi-san but aren’t those Ninomiya’s tasks?” he asked looking at the president.
Matsumoto stayed still, eyes locked to his files for a few second before looking up to Aoyama. “I’m afraid from today onward; Ninomiya is no longer the concern of this company…”
“Why is that so?” Aoyama asked curiously. Other board members started to whisper among themselves.
“That boy decided to quick from this company…” Matsumoto said calmly but the volcano in his body was about to ruptured again. He breathed deeply and continued “… to join Tanaka Co.”
“Are we talking about the same Tanaka... the billion dollar project?” Inoue asked. The president nodded and continued “I’ve spoken to him this morning… and looks like he’s going against our company…” The last statement went directly to Aoyama. He directed his gaze to Matsumoto signaling him something only both know.
“How bad is our situation exactly?” Hiroto asked, knowing that their company was depending on the project so much that it might gave them major effect.
Feeling the president’s gaze fell on him, Aoi answered. “We didn’t know… yet…” he said as he flipped over his files. “But we must be-” he was cut short by Matsumoto action.
Matsumoto suddenly raised from his chair. He stood proudly and said “there’s nothing to be worried about... I’ll settle this matter myself…” The small voices disappeared slowly upon hearing his next statement “… and I’m thinking of bringing my son into this company…”

Ohno signed. He kept his hands at work even though his mind isn’t right there with him. He had just about enough with Nino, always rejecting him saying he has better things to do but spared the details from him. He wanted to understand him more but Nino didn’t give a space for him to do that. Moreover, he promised Nino to help him even he refused it. And now he didn’t even know he’s whereabout. He hit the dough in frustration and winched when a piece landed on his face.
He recalled all events since the day he got into this town as he mixed the content of the large bowl. First he arrived here, Nino save him from being run over by a motorcycle, then, he drove him to the bakery where he met Aiba and Matsumoto. The picture! He suddenly remembered. He was too occupied on flirting with Nino that he forgot the picture, the picture of Aiba and Jun kissing. If he’s calculation was right, Aiba finally got together with Sho- wait, he thought. This isn’t my concerned. He shook his head to get him back on track.
Okay continued concerning Nino, he found the picture in Nino’s car, which mean, either Nino took it or someone gave it to him. He doubted that someone gave it to Nino though so he left with the other. But why Nino wanted to know Jun and Aiba’s personal life? He hit his head in frustration causing pieces of the dough scattered on the floor.
Let’s start with Aiba. No families, lives alone, just get hired at the bakery a few days before he came to the town, nothing special. Jun’s live on the other hand is much more interesting. His father is one of the rich men in Japan and maybe the world. No siblings. Wait, didn’t Nino work with Jun’s father, Ohno thought as he recalled the incident at the bakery’s opening party. Okay that link one to another. Maybe Jun’s father asked him to take the picture. But for what? He signed. Ok, K.I.V. that. And then Nino’s sister, the nurse’s said it’s of trauma. But what’s the reason?
“Argh!” Ohno suddenly yelled.
“Ohno-san, are you ok?” Maru looked worried to him. He had been watching Ohno for sometimes now. He was in the kitchen covering for Aiba since Aiba was unable to go to work just yet. Not that he wanted to but he lost to Yamapi on Jan-ken and had to work in the kitchen with Ohno for the time being.
“Ah~ Maru, didn’t notice you’re there… I was just thinking…”
Maru looked at him and tilted his head. “That must be a hell of a thought since it made you ‘kill’ the poor dough…” he looked down to the now ruined dough in Ohno’s hands.
“Ah~ my poor baby…”Ohno lifted the remaining of the dough to his face and Maru rolled his eyes.

“Kazu~”
Nino looked up from the files on his table to Riena who was standing at his door posing as if to seduce him. He smiled slightly at her before resuming his work.
Seeing Nino seemed uninterested, Riena walked closer to him and sat at the edge of the table. “Nice office…”
“Thanks…” he said without taking his eyes off the files.
“Kazu, let go somewhere… I’m bored…”
“Sorry, I have work to do…”
“That’s ok… I’ll tell daddy…” she started to pull Nino’s hand up from his chair.
Nino freed himself from Riena using too much force than needed causing her to back against the wall. “I’m sorry but I’m not interested… find someone else…”
“You’re my fiancée… don’t you think it’s your duty to follow me?”
“Unless you forget, I’m not really your fiancée, Riena… and please, stop this entire lovey-dovey attitude when no one’s around… it’s giving me a-” he stopped when Riena daringly kissed his lips. “Wow, stop that…” he said after he pushed her away. He withdrew from his seat to keep some distance between them.
“What’s with you guys?” she started to get angry. Nino knew she was only talking about Jun when she said that. “Am I not pretty enough?”
“You’re pretty, Riena but…” I’m not into women. As if he was going to say it out loud, Nino thought.
“But what?”
“You… deserve someone better…”
“Whatever…” she said.
Nino let out a relieved sign when Riena decided to walk away. “Why does everyone think its fine to just kiss people around?” he whined as he wiped his lips with the hem of his shirt. “Geez…”

Matsumoto Jun sat in his office looking outside the window. It took a week for him to recover from his injury but forever for his broken heart. Yuri had been very helpful during that time and he can never felt anymore than grateful for having Yuri as a friend.
“Jun-kun…”
Jun turned toward the door and smiled upon seeing Yuri entered with something in her hand. She’d been making him lunch everyday since that day. Jun can’t help but felt grateful for her kindness. He stood up and went to the couch. “Yuri, you don’t have to spoil me like this everyday…”
“I want to… so just let me ok…” she smiled and took her place in front of him. He saw only one bento when she placed it on the coffee table. As if she can read his mind, Yuri said “I can’t join you today… my parent’s in town…”
Jun never thought the situation could be this awkward, both looking at each other giving their best smile. They sat in silence, thinking own thoughts for a few minutes before Yuri started the conversation. “Um, Jun-kun, I-” she stopped when she caught him looking at the wall, the wall that have a chart of employees in the bakery. He was looking at one particular person and Yuri knew who that was.
Realizing Yuri was saying something, Jun turned his gazed toward her. “What is it?”
“Nothing…” she smiled sadly at him and stood up. “I have to go meet my parent…”
“Ah~ Yuri…” Jun called as she reached the door.
“Yes?” she turned and looked at him with hope. Hope he'll say something she long to hear.
“Tell them I said hi…”
She managed a small nod before closing the door behind her. Maybe not today, she thought as she leaned on the door and signed before walking back to her place.

The meeting went as schedule but not without unfinished issues. When all the members were out of the room, Aoyama made his moved toward Matsumoto. He took his place beside him and stared at the man that was almost his age looking through his files.
“Yuki, are we suppose not to worry about that boy?”
“What do you mean?”
“You know, he might after us for revenge…”
“Revenge?” Matsumoto laughed as he looked at Aoyama. “And for what that revenge was suppose to be?”
“You know what…”
“No, I don’t…” he said looking back to the files.
“Ninomiya… Daichi…” Aoyama hesitated. Matsumoto stopped upon hearing his in law name. Ninomiya Daichi, Kazu’s father. Aoyama Satoru had been working with Matsumoto since he entered the company. To put it more simply, he was once Matsumoto’s right hand man, as Matsumoto wanted Nino for Jun. Aoyama managed to gain his position in the company with Matsumoto’s help of course. “Just think about it… he must’ve found out about his father and decided to go against us…” he continued.
“Nah, that brat is not that clever to plan anything… I thought him everything he knew and he’s fool if he thinks he can go against me…” Matsumoto reasoned. “Beside, he’d got his chances but never take it…”
“… and Jun… what’s your plan for Jun?”
“You’ll see once its done… just relax, Satoru…” he patted Aoyama’s back. “I’ll take care of everything… as always…”
“I hope you’re right... got to go… client’s waiting…” Aoyama stood and excuse himself.
---
He was just finished his lunch when his phone rang. He recognized his father secretary at the end of the line as soon as he heard her voice.
“Jun-kun, your father will be expecting you to home tonight. Important matter to discuss, he said…”
What more does that old man want? Jun thought. Not enough askng his son doing his dirty work and now what more? He frowned searching for excuse not to come home.
“… Jun-kun?” the secretary asked waiting for his answer.
“Fine, tell him, I’ll be home tonight…” he said defeatedly and hung the phone.
He went to his seat to resume his thougth when he heard beeping sound coming from the fax machine outside. Knowing Yuri not there, Jun walked out to get it. As soon as he read the fax, he stormed outside and drove off without telling anyone his destination.

Sho kneeled beside Aiba who was lying in the bed. He looked at a sleeping figure in front of him. He swore he never saw a person as beautiful as Aiba. He ran his fingers gently along Aiba’s face ignoring the heat resulting from his fever, eyes closed to picture his face in his mind. In his mind, Sho can see Aiba smiling back at him. He opened his eyes only when he felt tears flowing down his cheek.
“I’m sorry, Masaki…” he whispered between his tears. “I’m so sorry…” he kissed Aiba’s lips softly and walked out the house. He got into his car, looking one last time at the cabin before driving off leaving Aiba alone and sick on the bed.
