Totally sum up how I think of the Malfoys when I read the books.

I wish more fan fiction reflected that view.

I wish more fanfiction reflected that view as well~! There is a sort of unapologetic view of the Malfoys in both canon and fanon, and I just do not get it. There is no gray. I love the idea that they were forced into it because of their name, that it was what was expected of them. (Most people apply this to a reformed!Draco, but I put this onto the entire family.)
