I think you expressed your appreciation quite well! ♥

I was worried about writing something so dark: 8059 tends to be one of the fluffier couples, and to bring, well, blood and h/c to such sweetness is a little >.<;;;; , but I went for it! Thanks for commenting; it lets me know the risk was worth it!

I loved this.

The way you showed Yamamoto's shift in focus and his distraction by mundane things was captivating. I especially liked the part with the drawers and the disjointed dialogue. The fastforward at the end was extremely nice as well.

I happened to see one of your comments about bringing blood to a fluffy couple and I have to say that...the few bloody ones out there for 8059 are generally the best ones and I have to say this one slips right in with them. I find them much truer to the mafia lifestyle that it seems they would have to adapt to.

/le epic blush.

I am fascinated by the darker side of this ship; I mean, I doubt I would love it as much as I do if there was only OMG LOLZ (which, don't get me wrong, I do enjoy). Hayato gets the most angst!attention, but Takeshi... well, I can only imagine the darkness that he has within him. He is, after all, a hitman: there is only so much innocence he can have before we get to what he has to do in order to be a functioning part of the family.

LOL. I must have tried/thought up five different ways to use the drawer/cabinet scene and that dialogue; the solution was just to mix them together.

XDDD

I am too. I mean sure Dera's got the whole half race and the family issues but...Takeshi has so much potential for angst. There's a reason he treats life as a game. Totally hoping to find out about his mom and that she's badass. I completely agree about the innocence thing.

It worked very well in my opinion~

Oh no! I intended no harm! D:

I may have been writing at, like, two o'clock in a dark mood for most of it, so perhaps that came across in the writing! lol.
