Some interesting BiCon side effects

Well now, the funniest things have happened today.  Aside from the understandable cuddle withdrawal, BiCon has had some bizarre effects on me. It was quite weird, but also fairly giggle worthy, so I thought I'd share to see if anyone else has had a similar experience! It went something like this ( Read more... )

I smile at everyone.

I want to greet people with cuddles.

I also have such girl body language. That'll last a couple of weeks, I think, until working with almost all men submerges that again.

*smile* Thank you. *curtsey*

It hangs around a bit. But it's not the same as living in a genderqueer space like Bicon. Meh.

Understandably. But sure, welcome to the real world. I'm currently quite disapproving of it. It doesn't have the same kind of emotional support systems as the world of the con. :(

I keep giggling to myself as a random memory pops into my head, but I don't think anything else has happened yet.

How are you coping with transferring between large amounts of socialising and very little? I came home with a group of five others, which reduced down to 3 and then just Matt and I, and I'm spending as much time with him as I can to try and ease myself back into normal life. The one thing I was dreading about BiCon was the comedown afterwards, but thankfully I seem to have dealt with it okay.

I'm coping by becoming a hermit and sitting around in my nightclothes until odd hours of the afternoon, and then not sleeping. Its quite bizarre. I don't think I'm dealing with the comedown quite as well as you are m'dear. My last day was so stressful that it kinda coloured my whole trip. Oh, and I almost got arrested in the airport in Cardiff. But that was kinda funny really. Travelling with bobs can be stressful when you're psychotic about having everything organised, and your partner is the polar opposite. But aside from almost getting stranded at Dublin airport cos our lift forgot he was picking us up and went and got hammered instead, it went fairly well!

Oh heck, how did you manage to nearly get arrested?!

By swearing vehemently about something entirely unrelated while a security supervisor was within earshot. Apparently swearing isn't allowed in Cardiff International! I was threatened with the summons of 2 police officers with heavy-duty machine guns... Asshole on a power trip.
