Yeah, that's the second time that a post like that has happened there. It's really irritating. I mean, how hard is it to Google. I mean, c'mon!

I'm glad you responded the way you did. I'm not a teacher (yet) but I was a teaching assistant at my University for awhile. I couldn't believe the utter laziness and sense of entitlement many students seemed to have. I'm really looking forward to becoming a teacher, but I'm not looking forward to dealing with crap like that. Well, I guess I better get used to it!

Now go back and look at the thread--I'm getting yelled at for being too harsh. "So, what, people shouldn't go to the Writing Center, either?" Yes, they should go, but the WC doesn't do their research for them. Duh.

LJ communities amaze me because so many people waste time asking things that coule be googled much more quickly.
