With results almost out a week, I guess it is only now that the feelings have sunk in and I have maped out the rest of what is left for year 12.
However, it seems to me with what I have, that my dreams seem to be slipping out of my  hands, as if they are unobtainable. Living close to where i intend to study on, it further just restates that it seems

I'm glad that you're refocusing and staying positive. Do you need a really high enter for your first preference? I didn't even get into my first preference which was folio-based-entry, but I'm really happy with where I ended up now, even though when I went to the first open day I was like NO NOT GOING HERE haha.

Yeah, refocused although its like the fifth time this year. Yeah enter is 94, and with my results im begining to think that it maybe unobtainable.

Im glad you ended up with something you like. With 12 preferences to submit, there is a chance that you will get something you like & I'm glad you did.

Curious.. did you ever think of changing to your first preference after couple of years. Or are they totally different?

Firstly, don't give up because end-of-year exams still count for so much and good exam marks can make lower sac marks go up (but not the other way around).

My first preference was film at VCA, and I got through to interviews, but didn't get a spot, which they told me before change of preference week, which I then used to figure out which was my "new first preference". So now I'm at Swinburne which is awesome, and though I'm still doing film, VCA doesn't just let you switch over... if I applied again and got through, I would have to start from the first year again, if that makes sense?

That's because VCA is all elitist and stuff though. If you're wanting to go into a less arty field, generally transfers are more doable, especially if it's in the same uni.

I like taking inspirations from things that make me reflect on myself. We all like to achieve our dreams, but sometimes they are simply unobtainable. We can only try right,and hope for the best.

Don't loose faith, sometimes I can see that within you with the i'll do bad. You know you can reach dreams far greater than mine. You are better than me, and you know it.
