Ah yes, the Hungarian countess Elizabeth Bathory (aka "The Bather In Blood"). In high school I wrote a paper about her for history class because I thought she was a fascinating story, but my stodgy old history teacher was not amused *G*

What a fun thing to write a paper even if the teachers don't like it. *frowns at them* I'm glad I didn't run into that problem. They let me write papers on stuff like the history of Halloween.
