crocheting with beads

This weekend, I bought a book on bead crochet. I was so excited, I had to get right into a project. So, last night I decided I would make a small purse. I *never* just ease into anything - I have to dive right in. So, not only did I decide to crochet with beads for the first time, I also decided to work with Fun Fur for the first time. it looks really cool and original and like something people would charge $40 for at an artsy craftsy store so...neat! it looks more like a nest with pretty eggs and if you get tired of it you can cut it apart and use the beads for something else.

Hmmm....making bracelets and selling them for $40 each sounds a lot better than trying to teach grammar to kids who keep forgetting what we're doing....

i also just frogged my first knitting project, but it was because I wanted to emancipate the yarn.

unfortunatly, I learned how to knit but not how to cast on.
