Hurrah for new pets! I hope we can see pictures soon!

I don't know much about cats - I just googled ragdoll though - do they shed much fur? My cats look a lot less furrier and I'm still not used to how much fur they shed.

We lock ours inside at night, which seems to stop the hunting - but they still "hunt" the moths and geckos in the house. It sounds like there's an aerobics group out in the lounge room when we're trying to get to sleep...!

Valium doesn't shed at all, but Violet seems to shed a bit - we're in a really hot peak at the moment, so I think that will be the most he will shed. They don't seem to shed much as a rule, and don't get matted fur and don't need to be brushed, which is amazing for a medium-long haired cat. I've patted quite a few adult cats over the course of getting these kittens and none of them seemed to have much shedding, so I'm a bit hopeful. I know what you mean though, it can be a bit much all that cat hair everywhere!

Ragdolls have to stay inside most of the time as they're not good at being outside cats apparently. We let them out when we're outside so they can have a play, but never unsupervised. It's sweet that you googled ragdolls! I'll have some pics soon!

Congrats! I've always thought that ragdolls were an adorable breed. And two is just the right number, or at least that's what the vet told me today ^-^
