You know, Mike is like SO INTERESTED in seeing how everything goes down. He plays the Mortal Combat theme song to me every time there has been a debate and, of course, he has watched this over and over and over:
I tend to stay away because the debates make me a nervous wreck. I'd rather scroll through my Twitter feed and see people's reactions there. It doesn't really matter for me anyway. I've already got my mail-in ballot filled out and ready to drop off at the Registrar of Voters.
I take the polls with a huge grain of salt. (The same for political pundits' analysis.)I can say that out here the Romney to Obama bumper sticker ratio has been about the same which is saying something for California. (In '08, practically everyone had an Obama sticker.) But, I'd say the biggest battle out here is for Prop 30 and 32. More people talking about those than the president.
Oh dear fuzzy! I couldn't get my phone to play that youtube clip. XD I had to show it to my whole family! That's hilarious!
What are the Props about? I don't even know if we have anything on the ballot this year aside from people. Every election I've participated in has had at least one or two, but I haven't heard anything this time. Most of the buzz here is about Ted Cruz, whom I would be excited about except that we all know what happens to politicians once they get to DC.
I am still leaning towards not voting. If there were a third candidate (someone that I could actually get behind) then yes I'd be more willing to vote. But like I said already in a previous post, another four years of Obama will be nothing more but fighting, mud-slinging and little to no accomplishments (Dems and Repubs can't get along to save their souls) and Romney... Well I still don't get the feeling that he cares about the middle class. I'm not a fan of everything the President has done but at this rate, I just want this election to be over and done with. At least then I won't be bombared with political ads, commercials, commentary, etc, every few seconds. Maybe I can just hibernate until Nov.6th? That'd be nice. ^___^
