Johnny was finishing up his packing as he watched Savannah do the same. He was grinning slightly and thought to tease her a little. "You know, I know we talked about exchanging gifts today, but I... think I'll make you wait until tomorrow." He winked at her. "How's that sound, sweetheart?"

Her gifts were actually wrapped up and sitting on his bed

Savannah looked up from the bag she was packing and cocked her head, giving him a bit of a smirk.

"Well, you could do that, love, but then that means you wouldn't get to open yous until tomorrow, either."

Johnny's grin fell as he considered that. Then he chuckled and gave her a wide smile.

"Which one do you want first? The bigger box or the littler box?"

Savannah laughed. "I figured that would be your answer."

She thought for a moment. "The smaller one."

"My family is going to love you," he said as he retrieved the smaller box and moved over to her. "I know my sister does already, but Reed and Ben... they are really going to enjoy you." Johnny handed her the smaller box and said softly, "Merry Christmas, sweetheart."
