“Am I doing it right?” He looks up from between her perfectly shaped, creamy white thighs with a ridged face.
“Gah, no!” She scissors her legs and throws him off the bed. “I said, ‘hurt me’. Not fumble around and get on my last nerve!”

I liked this.

Joss did an amazing job with Darla. I think her arc was one of the most surprising and well done in the Jossverse, considering where she began.

This story foreshadows all that. Well done!

Gorgeously brutal, just like Darla. I love the sense of history here, the weight of it and the many years that Darla carries beneath her skin. Just beautiful and terrifying and I love how as always, Darla was her own woman.

I loved this. Your contemptuous, world weary Darla was beautifully drawn. Using very few words, you painted a vivid picture of her downward spiral after the loss of Angelus. Luke pursuing her for The Master explains her presence in Sunnydale.

Giving Luke the title of the episode as his last pompous line gave me a big grin. Thanks for sharing this.
