What are we watching, exactly?

There are differences in content for Buffy the Vampire Slayer, depending on what format we watch. Sometimes there is a "previously on" at the beginning, or an "into each generation..." intro. There may be cuts to make space for more commercials, or for "objectionable" language or sex. So what are our options?

I own all the seasons on DVD (Region 1), but I was considering watching on Netflix because it's easy.

I originally watched on DVD, but eventually downloaded all seasons from iTunes.

I might also cheat from time to time and consult the transcripts if any are still left on line. Otherwise, I'll be using dvd's. Should be Region 1.

Thanks. I do have them bookmarked, but haven't had any reason to look anything up lately and with the way BtVS things are disappearing, I cross my fingers every time I click on it. :)

I've been doing my rewatch via Netflix.

So far, I've only noticed one place where I thought something had been cut, but someone linked me to a video clip of the original scene from the DVD and now I'm not so sure.

My DVDs are all in storage and hard to get at so I'll be sticking with Netflix.

I will be watching Region 2 DVDs., although my Season 1 DVDs may be Region1 - they don't say on the box.
