Ahh this is a great moment. Sam is enjoying Dean’s awkwardness because it’s unusual for him but I think he’s also a little taken aback at Dean’s interactions with Cassie. Sam always keeps a degree of hero worship and seemingly unfailing belief in his larger than life big brother but in moments like these in s1 Sam starts to get to see more vulnerabilities too.
