I didn't find this sequence of reviews until yesterday, and spent last evening rolling around in the insights and speculations, hugging them to me. Weirdly, I have a partly written story where Dean is Sam's imaginary brother and abandoned it because I thought it was too far fetched. Maybe I'll look at it again.

Your dissection, at least of the pilot, compliments Sheila O'Malley's perfectly and I love it. I'm including your masterlist in the Supernatural Newsletter tomorrow, and I'm sorry I didn't pick up on it before. Keep on with your recaps. I am a big fan. Next... Wendigo!

You should absolutely revive your story. If the show has proven anything, it's that nothing is too far-fetched! :D

I love these added insights. I agree that early seasons were densely packed and each scene and each shot was carefully and intelligently constructed. It's thrilling to read the insightful unpacking of the layers!
