You are lucky in the location of your house: your deliveries aren't obvious and blinking "Want me? Come get me." That isn't a problem now that I'm in an apartment, but for the decades I lived in a row houses that fronted on a busy streets, I often thought how disappointed any thief would be. Size 1X women's clothing, thyroid-replacement pills and blood pressure medication, with the occasional book they wouldn't want to read***: what ever they took would end up in the nearest trash can, I'm sure. I used to get the White Flower Farm catalog years ago. I loved reading it. Thanks to your post I just signed up for a catalog.
I remember one catalog from them had the very first yellow peonies available. They were $300 per plant.
