As you may already know, I cruised the Caribbean for eleven days in December from 1 December to 11 December.
Read all about it! I had a wonderful time with the high lights including tours of two of the islands we visited, St. Lucia and Barbados.
Note: I took a lot of pictures, many of which are under the links below. You have been warned.

Can't you get priority seating on the tour bus as an elderly person? And don't you have a walker yet? MIL has just got hers at 95 years old and it's the best thing she's ever done. And she hasn't had half as many falls as you have. Nudge, nudge.

When I get into my 90s, I'll consider a walker. This fall was due to sheer stupidity on my part and could have been completely avoided if I had accepted the offer of a ride from where I exited security to my gate. The ride was offered vigorously, and I got scolded by the cart driver for not taking it after my fall. Next time, for sure. FanSee

When I was 15 I had the opportunity to go on a group trip to Europe - 10 days of bouncing around Italy and the south of France. It was amazing! But my biggest regrets are the times when we would get off the bus, and troop inside a monument or building - and stand all in a group while the tour leader spent 20 minutes describing the history of the hole in the ceiling - when ALL I WANTED TO DO was go explore and SEE the fantastic statues lining the walls. I always assumed that AFTER they stopped talking, we would get to go look - but no, we were On A Schedule - so once they finished their piece, they would herd us all back into the bus to go to the next place.
Good for you for making the most of your tour and NOT sitting and listening to the boring bits!
