Very good with the tasks, you got much done! As for exercising, with me it's like meditation or wine, something I should understand and be doing yet I've have neen anle to devrelop the habit. Maybe I'll try wine again 👍 Keep at it, you do fine.

We share a lot of challenges: meditation and wine as well as exercise. In my case, no one is nagging me to take up meditation or switch from beer to wine, but that dang child of mine really wants me to exercise. He doesn't nag me often, but knowing he feels he's failed at motivating me does motivate me. FanSee, hopeful despite past failures.

One of the things I admire about you, hon, is how organized you are. Now, you probably think you're NOT organized or that you could do better, but believe me, I know people who aren't organized at all and, honey, that can be awful for them and for everyone around them!

I'm with you on the exercise -- also guilty. However, I can't get on the floor thanks to bad knees, hip, and back. Fortunately, most exercises can be done from a chair, so (*sigh*) I guess I've got to get on that too! 😊

Happy New Year, hon!

Most people I know are better organized than I am and accomplish more. However, I am more interested in organizing myself than they are, and I am much better at writing about my efforts than almost anybody. I'd get more done if I stopped writing about getting things done and just did them.

You need a John in your life to lay out a programme of exercise for you. To expect you to organize your exercises in addition to doing them is asking too much of you, I feel.

Good luck in 2019. Go get 'em, tiger! FanSee

Making a habit of exercising is a worthwhile goal but exercises don't have to be on the floor. Perhaps you can do other strengthening exercises for a month and see if they result in greater ease getting down on the floor and up again.

gave myself a cramp in that thigh
Might be your body's way of saying start with chair exercises or ones that can be done standing up.

There are some exercise programs on daytime TV that might interest you if you have them in your area. Having someone demonstrate them and work out with you (so to speak) may make things more fun. (Fun? Well, pleasant.)
