I missed you all, I did, I did!
Yikes, it's been almost a month since I posted. In that time, I've dealt with a problem with my eye - I'll find out tomorrow if that's been resolved - a fatal computer crash; a day in NYC that left me half-crippled and exhausted; and a lovely day at the races, for starters. My house went on the market at about the same time I stopped posting, but I haven't had a nibble yet. All in all, I've felt a bit stressy which I battled in my own tried-and-true way: by reading reading reading and nibbling while I read. Gained five pounds and read fourteen books (zero Pulitzer Prize winners) plus two newspapers daily.
This evening I read whatever random posts appeared most recently on my Friends-list. Thank you for reminding me how much I enjoy LJ, janetismyname, ravenfeather, lucidxlunacy, manue7a, dadi, spiffikins, fauxklore, yamamanama, bigj52, and, of course, spikesgirl58.
I didn't leave a single comment on anyone's post even though I love you all and loved your posts. For those of you not mentioned, I will be by to see you, too, sometime when I'm not propping open my eyelids with toothpicks. Good night, FanSee
