An Antidote to My Last Post

On Sunday, two days ago, I wrote a "poor me" post HERE. Getting it all out there helped, even before I got all your encouraging comments...which helped even more...including bigj52's story of her mishpocka who fell and fractured her elbow. The poor woman is in constant pain and can do nothing for herself. She can't even get into a car without assistance

You lucky girl, Florida right now sounds heavenly. We have had the strangest weather this year. Cold, snow, rain and them 40 to 50 degrees. I am ready for spring. So glad your appointment went well. Good luck on getting your projects done. I am going to have a hip replacement on March 5th and trying to get some food made and frozen as my hubby doesn't cook. He is fantastic and does everything else so I am very lucky. Also want to get some books to read and a hand sewing project to keep myself busy when I am not in PT. Will be off work for 2 months. Can't believe I am looking forward to it. 2017 was a bad year, lots of pain and constant limping so I am finally ready to move on. I want to take my 5 year old granddaughter to Disney so that was incentive to bite the bullet and just have the surgery.
Have fun in Florida and soak up the sun.
