Looking Worse, Feeling Better

Those of you who are not pros at falling, as I am, may not realize that when a fall results in a hematoma ("a solid swelling of clotted blood within the tissues"), the healing process will result in looking worse when you are getting better.

This most recent fall resulted in two hematomas, one on my cheekbone, the other on my right foot. I

Get well soon and watch as many Netflix shows as you want in the mean time.Did you watch season 4 of Black Mirror btw? I watched all six episodes yesterday. Season 2 of The Crown is also out on Netflix already out if you're interested.

Oh my! Sorry to hear about your fall & injuries!! I hope your appointment at the clinic goes well & that everything heals quickly- although I know those hematomas can take a while to heal completely. Take care hon!

There is nothing more irritating than planning something, especially a medical appointment, and having it delayed. I hope that it turned out okay today, but I know the weather here is a big problem. Not sure what it is like there in Philly. I'll keep my fingers crossed that you make it to the appointment and all goes super well for you. As I said on FB, no more of these accidents for 2018...
