Sometime In the 70s, my husband and I invested in a platform bed which meant that, since there was no 'under' to this low-slung bed, we couldn't augment our storage with under-the-bed boxes. Some of my husband's clothes are in under-bed storage containers, so your suggestion about putting the label on the side makes sense to me. Now to get him to do it! *g*

The labels have already worked out! I needed to check the box that held my purses, and I could do so without pulling any other boxes out from under the bed! Yay. FanSee

I don't know how I ever got by before utilizing under-the-bed storage!! Especially now having a king size bed, I kept pulling more and more and MORE out from under there while packing up the bedroom and it was unreal. The labels on the sides is brilliant, though. I'm definitely stealing that. I have to shamefully admit our bunnies had mutated into mammoths, however. >.>

Glad you liked my idea with the labels. I've been using one of your tips for five or six years now. I had a bunch of stuff I was holding on to only for sentimental reasons. I read your tip about taking pictures of the objects and keeping the picture and it worked. With the picture in an album, I could let go of the item! and it was more than one item, believe me. I would have loved to get together, but since I was with friends non-stop...and not in Tampa (sob!)...it didn't work out. Maybe next time? FanSee
