I know I've been least in sight here, but it's been for a happy reason. On 20 March I flew to Ft. Lauderdale to spend a week with tosca15 and chering at tosca15's condo.
I think you need to print and frame your "do not..." sign pictures, including the ones for the agressive storks at the Bronx Zoo!
I'm uber jealous that you are going to Australia in June, even though I have a trip in October...that seems SO far away! And my niece and I are descending on poor Sharon next summer.
I have never been to Florida but now i want to go :D And Sharon wants a road trip...say through the Carolinas and Georgia? I'm game and I'll drive!
A trip through the Carolinas and Georgia should include a stop in Savannah, a city I've never visited but want to see. I'd love to go with you, depending on the timing. In the fall of 2016 I'm going to Venice with my Dunnett folk; I understand Venice is uber-expensive so that does it for 2016 (probably). Now 2017...that sounds interesting but is a lo-ong way off. FanSee
Simon, the Dunnetteer who organized our trips to Malta and to Istanbul, says Venice is way more expensive than either place. Believe me, Simon can squeeze a euro until it screams for mercy: if he says Venice is expensive, it's expensive.ur
Madagascar, Rwanda, Kenya and Uganda: four places I have no interest in seeing. Sorry. I think seeing the poverty would be uber-upsetting. Estonia made me miserable, and I'll bet it was posh compared to your four. FanSee
I'm hoping to post about my Australian trip en route, if I can get the technology to do so. I thought I'd do so in Florida but you can see how that worked out, alas.
The Australian trip will take almost a month. I really don't want to wait until I get home to record my experiences. FanSee
I love reading about your trips. They always look so much fun. Mulberries - we used to go to a neighbour's and pick them. Lovely to eat but boy they could cause stains. If birds ate them and then relieved themselves on the washing the stains were horrendous.
This trip was especially fun...very relaxing and stress-free. Plus I got in lots of good shopping; the only time I enjoy shopping is when I'm on vacation.
It just never occurred to me that mulberries were berries. Go figure! FanSee
Welcome back dear Fansee. Thank you so much for sharing your Miami experience with your friends. Good for you that you got up and traveled there to have some well deserved girl time. You look amazing, sweetie :) Take care *hugs you tightly* V.

I really was spoiled rotten.
Besides all that, it was a pleasure to be able to walk out the door without putting on a coat, a hat, mittens and boots. Now I think spring may actually have come to Philadelphia. *crosses fingers*
This little trip to Florida was a test run for Australia, a chance to see what worked and what didn't. I'm flying out of Los Angeles; I'll be buying that ticket before the end of the month. The flight to and from Australia is already taken care of. I'm not letting myself get excited yet. FanSee
Such beautiful pics. What a gorgeous pool. It looks like a great place to stay especially with QaF friends. Can you let me know your itinerary for Oz? I may be able to catch up. That's after our catch-up in PA.
I'm flying out of L.A. on 1 June with a guided tour: Melbourne, Alice Springs, Cairns, and Sydney. The rest of the tour goes home on 14 June, but I stay on for almost two more weeks.
From Sydney I go to Albion Park to stay with bodleian for a couple of days, then the two of us take several days to drive to Melbourne, sight-seeing as we go. After a couple of days in Melbourne, I leave for LAX on 26 June. Except for the ten days with the tour group, our itinerary is flexible.
Albion Park? That's not far from where I used to live. It's is less than three hours drive from here and we're on the way to Melbourne as well depending on which way you go. OK, so I'll be back in Melbourne from 22nd June to possibly 26th June. So we may be able to catch up then. But I'll see you in Coatesville? I'm there from 21st May to 28th May. Crazy that you'll be here and I won't be except for those few days.
I do hope to meet you and mandagrammy in Coatesville. I can get there by train, then taxi to mandagrammy's house fairly easily. Just set the date and I'll make my arrangements. Hint: closer to 21 May is better. I am so looking forward to seeing you again and meeting mandagrammy.
