I got to this part and just died: you will find the road / you will find the road

I'm generally a little wary of fics with lyrics interspliced--a lot of the time I feel like I skip over the lyric parts and miss out on what the fic wanted to do with them--but absolutely not here. This brings back everything I felt about 5x22/its afterward and then some. Just gorgeous. I loved the nod to 5x16, too. To talk about music some--the last time Knockin' on Heaven's Door came on on the radio, I nearly cried!

I know what you mean about songfic. I try to really integrate the lyrics into the piece or leave them out altogether. A lot of my fics are inspired by particular songs so I have to be very strict with myself!

Knockin' on Heaven's Door has that effect on me now as well!! :)
