Now that would make for a truly epic universe if the Winchesters and Marvel heroes existed in the same world!
Interesting time in their respective lives for them to run into each other too!

It worked out because the Winchesters don't really go in the big cities and the Avengers don't leave the big cities. Something like Sam and Dean's apocalypse, or the Leviathan crisis, doesn't seem to really register with the Avengers, who like most civilians, don't notice. :P

Fun to try and work it out though, and you know Dean would be a big fan of Cap and the Howling Commandoes. :D

Hah! Perfect fill for my prompt! I have been living in blissful ignorance of the existence of tropes until very recently but even now you had to educate me about the Canadian shack one. Though of course I am familiar with the concept. I think Alias Smith and Jones had an episode once where they were trapped with a bunch of gold prospectors in a shack somewhere playing cards and trying to make sure nobody found out their true identities (and with a few murders thrown in...)

I'd love to see some sort of cross over effort between SPN and Marvel verses - though the whole gods thing might be a little awkward to get around!

I'm so glad you liked it!

It's kind of weird that Thor and Loki are still referred to as gods. I guess they are, but I think of them as "gods" in a Star Trek way -- like they are nigh immortal powerful aliens whose powers work in ways people don't understand. In SPN, "gods" are spirit entities more reliant on human worship, in a more Vertigo comics/Neil Gaimanesque way. It's actually harder on Sam and Dean's worldview to accept that Thor and Loki are aliens from another planet than that they might be gods, since Sam and Dean run into spirit-type gods on a pretty regular basis, but they're still convinced there is no such thing as aliens. :)

I love that there is a widely accepted crossover genre of "SuperWhoLock" and I've actually seen "SuperAvengeWhoLock" but I don't see much "supavenge" which is really too bad, because once they got their secrets out in the open, Steve and Sam and Dean and Bucky get along really well. :D
