Ohhh, this is lovely. I really think the style of writing suits the Moment. Flows and stops, a bit disjointed but still making perfect sense.

It totally works. It's disjointed but flowing, encompassing one being while taking in the whole of the universe. I loved that it was both broad and narrow.

I can see it. Really see what you've written and I teared up but its exactly what I hoped the Moment could give to him. That everything had not been in vain that Rose was everywhere and had in someways been shaping him. Carefully paving the way including giving him comfort in knowing that out there in another universe Rose is loving her Doctor and him back and all is as it should be.

Its beautiful Liss. Thank you.

I'm so glad you enjoyed it! :D

Writing this led me to think that about how lucky the other Universe is that it now has a Doctor and Rose.

I also think their new Tardis will have memories and abilities like the original one, because of her nature as a coral and essentially a clone of our original Tardis.

So, I think there's a good chance that she could reverse-Chameleon Arch the Doctor and restore his Time Lord nature -- both from her records and from his DNA. So he and Rose can now live on forever, without fear of growing old. Immortal Rose is a firm part of my headcanon and I'm sticking to it! :)

I had a great time writing for you as always. It wasn't super long, being just a flash of consciousness for Ten while the Moment lets him be aware of her just for an instant, but I tried to pack in a lot!

Ohh... I like this very much. There's a rather distant but historical and yet personal feel to this--contradictory, but encompassing a lot. I love how, within that contradictory mood, the Doctor is both challenged and comforted by the Moment. He doesn't get what he wants, but he sees what he wants for his other self.

It was pretty heartbreaking that the Moment was right there with the Doctor all along in the 50th, but not apparent to Ten or Eleven. In that way she is like the hope they have lost.

It just made me so happy that the Moment called herself the Bad Wolf. That part where Bad Wolf tells Nine "the Time War ends" is a huge canon crux for me. Rose + Tardis/Vortex = Bad Wolf, and now we know that Bad Wolf was there for him during the Time War, just when he needed her most, just like we always knew she must have been.

So I really had to project that forward for Ten. He isn't in a place where he can feel the Bad Wolf's continued presence in his universe (though my head canon tells me that Bad Wolf helped to create both River Song and Clara in their impossibility), but he could accept that his divergent self and Rose would be together forever in another universe, so that's what she gives him.

Thanks so much for your lovely and thoughtful comment! :)

Time craved her beloved from the beginning, sought him, howled for him. Every quantum indecision she swayed, swerved toward the possibility of him. The constellation Kasterboros was born, the jewel planet Gallifrey solidified, the Time Lords arose to rule her domain, and he sprang up from amongst them, scorned and perfect, her very own.

Wow, wow, wow, that passage about how Time Herself makes him her beloved. Just beautiful.

I love the whole Bad Wolf concept... it's my top favorite thing about New Who. :D
