beta my who - labyrinth crossover?

I have two versions of a ficlet.  I need to know if one works better than the other.

It is for this prompt by redcirce "AnyTen/Rose: Labyrinth crossover! Ten gives Jareth advice on spunky, willful Earth girls and Rose gives (older)Sarah advice on sexy yet arrogant immortal not-human men who pretend to be British. Or vice versa"

I have two versions. Basically one is all dialogue, and the other has added experimental writing in italics!!!

argh, I know, but if you could just read them and let me know if one works, or the other, or if I really just need to put my nose to the grindstone and write out the story more traditionally.

My husband is my primary beta, but then, he and I share one brain, so I'm looking for an outside opinion. :D

ETA: grindstone has been applied to nose, and I think have my third more story-like version ready to go. thanks for the offer to beta -- I appreciate it!
