I'm friending you because... In the last year or so I've seen you around fandom, and I think we've 'talked' a few times on our mutual friend's LJs before our current conversation. And, if my memory serves me right, we even met once at EyeCon2 during the dinner that Amy organized?

Yes, I was at that dinner! If that didn't scare you away from me then all should be good. :) Also, if once you're in and feel it's not a good fit...no hard feelings to defriend (I am a tad crazy!).
