Happy May Day!

One of my favorite memories of growing up is celebrating May Day with my mom. First she would take my brother and I to gather some phlox. Then we would make cones out of construction paper at home with a paper strap stapled to the top. We would put candy in the bottom of the cone, then put the flowers in and then hang them on neighbors'

We used to do that too! I was wondering the other day if anyone still does that these days. Seems like you don't see it much.

Let's bring it back with our daughters! We'll have both coasts covered anyway. :o)

Good idea! Maybe if we start it on both coasts it will spread inward.
