speaking of zombie jesus day--it's something i never really considered before cos i hadn't read World War Z before last summer and also, i've never had to sit through 3 repeats of the same sermon (sang in the loft today GEH). but jesus still had his wounds when he came back... which goes against all of those wonderful bedtime stories jesus told everyone about being given a perfect body, lalala, &c...
so jesus *was* a zombie!!!
apparently, though, he was sentient because he disappeared and we are still here today as happy, living, non-zombie humans.
WOW. Christianity happened because of the T-Virus! :O
LOL only Chelley would go indepth with Kim Being a Brat (Easter is "Zombie Jesus Day" the way Thanksgiving is "Mass Genocide of Poultry Day" or Valentine's is "Hallmark Needs Money in the Post-Christmas Season Day")
My brother had to play cello in our Catholic church's Easter ceremony, but luckily, they were only needed for one sermon. I feel REALLY bad, though, because the church is one of only two Catholic churches on this side of town and... apparently, Catholicism is growing in our area. This means that communion took FOREVER. So yeah. I feel for you ;_;
*suffered through horrible church experiences for 15 years of her life* *refuses to ever go to another Easter/Christmas mass at a REGULAR church ever again* *will waiver that if she could go to a mass at a historical church, like Notre Dame* *how cool would it be to go to Easter mass at Notre Dame???*
it's good to know if there's ever an outbreak i'll be able to blame jesus.
hahaha. probably took forever because it was easter. normal services at the church where i grew up have like...no-one there...well, a bunch of regulars but nothing above like...100 people, really. happily was NOT there this year because in the past people who didn't get there at the asscrack of dawn had to stand up. like a japanese train at rush hour or something.
though yeeeeah. i can't say i'm religious. like, at all. the only reason i go to church is because i get paid. if i miss a service, yes, i feel guilty--but that's because it is my job to sing my head off. XD
by the way, have you ever read Sinfest? you would probably likey. the characters are brilliant.
