See, that was the problem I had going into this fic. Anger issues aside, Eli's so far from a 'bad boy' he's trying to take the "straight-laced hero leader" title away from Scott Summers.

Eli is a bit too intense to be a bad boy, though. crabby_lioness is right when she compares him to Scott Summers (I like Scott Summers, although the marvel fen think that he's the tool of the Marvel U). I don't think Eli would be as ice cold as Summers has been since he's moved into adulthood, though.
